How much will
the repair cost?
 Our hourly technician
charge is $85.00 plus parts. There is a one (1) hour minimum
charge. Most repairs can be done in 1 hour (about 90%
usually fall in this category). If a repair is going to hit
the 2 hour mark, we will call you to get your authorization
before we continue unless we have already received your
authorization.
Does repairing it in
1-hour mean swapping the
board out and charging the price of the
board
(which can cost up to $1000.00)?
No. We repair down to the component level. This includes
surface mounted IC’s which most service centers wont
touch. If we receive your instrument and a board will
not be cost effective to repair, we will call you to
discuss options, but this only happens on rare
occasions.

Because we know what we are doing. We have been
repairing Kurzweil equipment exclusively since 1995. We
have factory-trained staff and know all the common
problems, this is one of the reasons we can repair them
quickly. We are up to date on all the various bug fixes
the Kurzweil engineer’s have come up with since the
production of any given model. In some instances, your
Kurzweil will sound better than when you first brought
it home.
